Targets on their heads, election sign in Edmonton causing a stir

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – An election sign in Edmonton has recently gained a lot of attention for targetting two members of the Liberal party, including leader Justin Trudeau.
The sign went up in the Millwoods area of Edmonton and it displays Trudeau and Edmonton-Mill Woods Liberal incumbent Amarjeet Sohi, with red targets on their heads.

Lisa, a neighbour who lives in the area brought her concerns forward.
“I don’t think that it’s okay for you to be openly threatening the Prime Minister of our country in public,” said Lisa.
Now the homeowner is saying the sign was meant to come across as a call to action against a government he’s tired of.
“Vote him out! Vote him out! Target them both, vote them out,” said the homeowner, adding the signs aren’t meant to incite any violence.
