Trudeau not dressing up for Halloween this year

OTTAWA (NEWS 1130) – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be trick-or-treating with his family Thursday night, but is making some changes to his usual Halloween routine.

His office says Trudeau will be going out with his kids later today but unlike previous years, will not be wearing a costume.

The PMO didn’t provide a reason for the change.

During the recent election Trudeau was forced to apologize for a major scandal when old photos of him dressed up in blackface and brownface surfaced on the campaign trail.

In 2015 he took his kids trick-or-treating while dressed as Han Solo, and in 2017 attended Question Period disguised as Clark Kent.
