Welcome Hall Mission hosts annual toy drive

Welcome Hall Mission’s (WHM) annual toy giveaway, ‘Noël pour tous,’ is happening Saturday.

WHM invited underprivileged children and families, who are members of the organization’s free grocery store Marché Bon Accueil and Coeur à Soeur program for young single mothers in need, to their Saint-Henri location to meet Santa Claus and receive special gifts.

The toy drive will be held at 4755 rue Acorn, Door E.

Many of the families will be celebrating their first holiday season in the province.

The role of Santa Claus will be performed by Southwest borough Mayor Benoit Dorais in the morning, and then City Councillor Benoit Langevin in the afternoon.

Over 50 volunteers from various corporate companies around Montreal will be in attendance to help.
