Montreal police officers injured after crashing into stolen vehicle

Two Montreal police (SPVM) officers were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after colliding into an alleged stolen vehicle during a car chase on Wednesday.

According to the SPVM, officers attempted to stop the stolen car around 5:15 p.m. in Lachine, but the suspect fled.

The police ended up crashing into the vehicle, and a 20-year-old man fled on foot near 1st Ave. before being arrested.

The suspect suffered no injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
