Vehicle targeted by arson in Montreal’s RDP

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after a car was set on fire in Montreal’s Rivière-des-Prairies overnight.
Emergency services were called around 12:40 a.m. about the blaze on Perras Blvd., near Marien Blvd.
Firefighters brought the flames under control, and the SPVM says no one was injured.
The vehicle however, sustained significant damage.
The circumstances surrounding the fire are still unknown, and no incendiary objects were found on site, explained Montreal police.
The investigation was transferred to the SPVM arson squad, an investigation is ongoing.
