Upcoming road closure for the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel

The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will be closed overnight from Friday to Saturday.

The Transport Ministry says these closures are required to carry out maintenance work.

Highway 25 southbound

There will be a complete closure of Highway 25 southbound between Exit 6 – Beaubien Street/ Yves-Prévost Blvd. and the entrance from Sherbrooke Street East, from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m.

The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel towards the South Shore will remain open. Drivers will be able to access the tunnel from the entrance coming from Sherbrooke Street East.

Anjou Interchange

The ramp leading from Highway 40 westbound to Highway 25 southbound will be closed from Friday 10:30 p.m. until Saturday 8 a.m.

Boucherville Street

De Boucherville Street northbound and the reserved lane southbound between Hochelaga and Tellier Street will have nighttime closures starting Monday to Friday and from Sunday to Monday, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Highway 25 Northbound

There will be nighttime closures from the Notre-Dame Street entrance from Monday to Friday and from Sunday to Monday starting at 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
