Pedestrian hit by car in Longueuil

A pedestrian in his 60s was hit by a motorist in Longueuil on Sunday night.

Longueuil Police (SPAL) was called to intervene around 7:50 p.m. on Nobert Blvd., at the intersection of Jean-Béliveau Street.

When the police arrived, the driver had left the scene. The victim was in an unstable state of consciousness and was transported to hospital.

SPAL officers are asking any witnesses to contact 911 to assist in the investigation.

The intersection had been secured following the incident, but traffic has now been restored.
