Heavy snow headed for Montreal this week

Environment Canada is forecasting a mix of sun, snow, and clouds for Montreal over the next week.

It started off with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of -7 and the wind chill near -17.

Monday night expected to be partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of flurries overnight and a low of -10, but feeling more like -18 with the wind chill.

Tuesday, grey skies with a 40 percent chance of flurries in the morning. A few flurries beginning near noon, with two centimetres of snow expected to fall. A high of -4 and wind chill -7 in the morning. A low of -17.

Wednesday expected to bring the sun back. Clear skies and -10 as the high. Some light snow expected to fall in the afternoon and to continue overnight.

On Thursday, snow expected to continue throughout the day.

Milder temperatures, with the high hovering around zero. Flurries continuing into the evening, but the mercury is expected to drop to -14.

Sun again on Friday for Valentine’s Day, with temperatures at -7 for the high.

The weekend is expected to bring some snow – a 60 percent chance of flurries for Saturday.
