Parkinson’s IQ + You: Empowering the Parkinson’s community in Montreal

On Saturday, Parkinson Canada hosted Parkinson’s IQ + You, a free, in-person event designed to support people living with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners.

Parkinson’s IQ + You is an educational event series launched in 2019 by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Parkinson Canada is the first partner to host the event outside of the United States.

Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal, the event brought together members of the Parkinson’s community for a day of learning and connection. The program included sessions on navigating Parkinson’s, managing care, and learning about research participation.

Attendees also had access to a Partner Expo featuring information on treatment options and local resources.

The event ran from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and offered opportunities for participants to ask questions following each panel or talk.
