Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge: Reopening of the Chemin des Chenaux entrance to Highway 40 eastbound

Quebec’s Transport Ministry says the entrance to Chemin des Chenaux leading to Highway 40 eastbound will be reopened to traffic as of June 12 at 5 a.m. A partial night closure of Highway 40 eastbound will be required to prepare for lane configuration.

Wednesday, June 11, at 10 p.m. to Thursday, June 12, at 5 a.m

Closure of the right lane of Highway 40 eastbound between the entrance from Chemin des Chenaux and the beginning of the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge.

The reopening may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Before hitting the road, it is recommended to consult Québec 511, to properly plan your trips.
