Voters have until Sept. 5 to verify their registration or change their address for the upcoming municipal elections in November.
“To vote, you must be registered on the list of electors at your home address,” said Élections Québec on their website. “Make sure your information is correct.”

After Sept. 5, one would have to contact their municipal returning officer directly “to find out if your name is on the list or to change your registration.”
“The deadline for making a change varies from one municipality to another; check as soon as possible,” Élections Québec added.
One can use the Quebec change of address service here if needed, and apply here to be added to Quebec’s permanent list of electors.
On election day, Nov. 2, people will not be able to register or make changes to their file.
