As of Wednesday morning a boil water advisory remains in effect for part of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It was issued late Tuesday afternoon.
The City of Montreal specified that for Côte-Des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-De-Grâce, the advisory applies to the Snowdown area between Harvard Ave., Côte-Saint-Luc Road, Monkland Avenue and Décarie Blvd.
It initially included a larger sector.
The city says the measure is due to a drop in pressure in the network.
Officials warn that residents in areas affected should boil water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it to brush their teeth.
Non-boiled tap water can only be used when washing dishes in hot water, doing laundry or showering.
The advisory is in effect for an indefinite period.
