Pascal Vincent of Laval Rocket named North Division coach for AHL All-Star Classic

Pascal Vincent of the Laval Rocket will serve as head coach for the North Division at the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic, the league announced Friday.

The event, hosted by the Rockford IceHogs, is scheduled for Feb. 10-11. Vincent earned the nod by leading the North Division as of Jan. 11, with the Rocket holding a 22-11-0-1 record.

Vincent, 54, has compiled a 70-30-3-3 record in the regular season with Laval and a 6-7-0 mark in the playoffs. He previously coached the Manitoba Moose and led the Central Division at the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in Utica, N.Y.

This marks the first time in Rocket history that the team’s head coach will represent the North Division at the All-Star Classic.

Vincent was also named AHL Coach of the Year last season, receiving the A.R. Pieri Memorial Award for the league’s outstanding coach. It is his second time winning the honour, having earned it in 2017-18 with the Manitoba Moose.
