Police investigate home invasion, assault in Saint-Constant

Police on Montreal’s South Shore are investigating a home invasion that left a man injured in Saint-Constant early Saturday morning.

According to officials, officers were called to a residence on Lanctôt Street around 2:37 a.m. after three individuals forced their way into an apartment and assaulted the occupant.

The victim suffered head injuries and was transported to hospital. Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The three suspects were arrested and are expected to be questioned. Investigators say the motive remains unclear.

Police believe the incident was isolated but are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
