27-year-old man found unconscious near Montreal airport

Montreal police (SPVM) say a 27-year-old man was found unconscious in near the Montreal International airport in Dorval Saturday morning.

SPVM police officers were called by paramedics around 6:50 a.m. about a man with injuries to his upper body on Montreal-Toronto Boulevard, near the Dorval Roundabout.

He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

“According to initial information, the victim was found on the ground with injuries to his upper body,” said SPVM spokesperson Johany Charland.

According to medical authorities, the victim’s injuries were caused by pre-existing medical conditions, as there is no evidence to suggest that they were of a criminal nature. No arrests are therefore planned.

The investigation is ongoing.
