Part of Highway 136 expected to be closed over weekend

Transport Quebec says more road closures are expected over the weekend.

From 10 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. on Monday, eastbound Highway 136, including the ramps from de la Cathédrale Street, Notre-Dame Street and Robert-Bourassa Boulevard, will be closed.

The closure is reportedly to allow for maintenance and inspection work on a water main carried out by the City of Montréal.

Detours will be in place, and work may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Drivers are asked to check Québec 511 prior to hitting the streets.
