Montrealers can expect traffic disruptions as a section of Route 136 will be closed in the eastbound direction this week.
Transport ministry says the closure is necessary to allow for private storm sewer connection work.

Exit No. 3 (Downtown Montreal / Guy Street) on Route 136 will be completely closed from Monday, Aug. 3 from 5 a.m. to Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.
The detour will be marked by temporary signage.

Exit No. 3 (Downtown Montreal / Guy Street) is the last exit before the Ville-Marie Tunnel. Vehicles transporting hazardous materials or with a height exceeding 4.4 metre must take the previous exit (No. 2 – Atwater Avenue).
Work may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
Drivers are asked to consult the Québec 511 website or download the mobile app for notifications.
