Mobile COVID-19 testing clinic stationed in Cote-Des-Neiges

MONTREAL (CITYNEWS) – A mobile testing clinic is stationed in Montreal’s Cote-Des-Neiges borough over the long weekend – every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The converted STM city bus is parked in front of 3220 Appleton Avenue in Cote-Des-Neiges. The borough is one of Montreal’s COVID-19 hotspots.

The mobile clinic is expected to remain there until Monday at 4 p.m.

Last week, public health authorities announced the launch of a massive screening operation in Montreal.

The mobile screening clinics are being dispatched in areas where there is community transmission. Each clinic can conduct 200 tests per day.

Screening is for people who have symptoms of the flu or who have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.

A testing clinic will be in Park Extension from Tuesday to Thursday. It will be parked in front of Parc metro station, on Hutchison street.
