Highway 35 extension project launched by Quebec gov.

MONTREAL – The Quebec government launched the start of the extension project for Highway 35 on Thursday.

The road segment between Saint-Sebastien and Saint-Armand will cost of over $222 million, including a federal investment of $82 million. The extension, also called Phase III of Highway 35, is 8.9 kilometres long and is located about 70km south of Montreal.

It’s expected to be ready for road users by fall 2023.
