Halloween lights recalled because of exposed wires

OTTAWA (660 NEWS) – Halloween may have been over a month ago, but Health Canada is now out with a recall for a specific brand of outdoor lights.
The Danson Decor outdoor Halloween 30-light set has been pulled from shelves because the electrical wiring may be exposed on the light string, posing a risk of electric shock.

The company who makes the lights said its received three reports of exposed wires in Canada, and no injuries.
Just under 35,000 packages of lights were sold at Dollarama from Aug. 2019 to Oct. 2020.
If you still have the recall products in your home, you should immediately stop using them and return them from where they were purchased.
