Police search for potential victims of former West Island coach charged with sexual assault

MONTREAL (CityNews) ─ Montreal police are looking for potential sexual assault victims of a former baseball and hockey coach in the West Island.

Robert Litvack, 41, is accused of sexually assaulting one of his players.

Investigators believe there are more victims.

Litvack appeared in court Aug. 3 and was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and inciting sexual touching.

The charges were in connection with a player who was receiving private lessons from Litvack between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021.

He worked as a coach and an administrator for the Lac-Saint-Louis baseball league from 2008 until this year. He coached players between 13 and 21 years old.

SPVM say he spent about a decade working as a coach and bench staff member for the minor hockey association in Dollard-des-Ormeaux until 2017.
