Snow storm headed for Quebec on Saturday

A snow storm is in the forecast for Quebec, with 10 to 15 centimeters expected to fall on Montreal by Saturday night.

It will feel like -11 with the wind chill in the afternoon.

Risk of freezing rain overnight, this evening as well, with temperatures steady near zero.

Environment Canada issuing a weather statement for:

  • Châteauguay – La Prairie
  • Laval
  • Longueuil – Varennes
  • Montreal

They’re advising that travel conditions may be impacted by accumulating snow – be careful on your drives.

Some regions, like Granby and Sherbrooke areas, could see 20 to 30 centimeters by Saturday night.

Rivière-du-Loup, Rimouski, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Charlevoix and Saguenay are among those that could see in excess of 35 centimeters.
