Double murder in Longueuil: young man & woman arrested

A 19-year-old man and 22-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with a double homicide in Longueuil on Sept. 23, 2022.
At around 8:15 p.m. that night, police responded to 911 calls about gunfire heard in a commercial parking lot on Lyon street.
Once on the scene, they found a 32-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman had been shot and killed.
Police had said initial information suggested the victims were targeted by gunfire from a vehicle that fled the scene before officers arrived.

The arrests were made with the help of the CENTAURE division of the Sûreté du Québec, which investigates organized crime and gun violence.
The suspects will appear in court Wednesday afternoon to face charges.
