New sex assault allegations against Gilbert Rozon

Three new woman have filed civil lawsuits against former Just for Laughs head Gilbert Rozon for alleged sex assaults, seeking a total of $4.65 million in damages.

One of the victims, Martine Roy, is the sister of Rozon’s ex-wife. She alleges Rozon raped and violated her in 1993 and 1995. Her lawsuit seeks $1.35 million in damages.

The other victim, Marylena Sicari, alleges she was sexually assaulted and harassed by Rozon several times between 1998 and 2004, while working for him. She is seeking $1.25 million.

The third woman, Guylaine Courcelles is claiming $1.9 million in damages for an alleged sex assault in 1987 when she was 22-years-old and working for the Just for Laughs festival.

This brings the total number of woman filling lawsuits against the former head of Just for Laughs, for alleged sex assault to nine.
