Quebec adding three more COVID deaths to its total and hospitalizations down by 45 patients.
The latest data shows the province is dealing with 393 active outbreaks and 3,322 health workers are absent from the system due to the virus.
Vaccination rates are up, averaging about 21,600 shots per day in Quebec – increasing by 18 per cent compared to the week before. The rebound in vaccination is primarily among those 60+.
16,957 fatalities total since the pandemic began: one in the last 24 hours and two added from the last week to the total.
2,004 people being treated in hospital.
Of those, 50 in ICU – up by one.
A total of 600 new infections in the last 24 hours, with 127 tests self-declared by Quebecers who were positive. The overall case numbers likely an undercount as access to PCR tests is limited to specific groups and not everyone self-declare their rapid tests.
