Opération Nez Rouge is returning to normal operations after two years affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organization says it is making “a strong comeback” in roughly 50 regions in Quebec.
Opération Red Nose helps drivers who may have had too much to drink get home safely during the holiday season.
This year’s campaign – their 39th – runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31.
“The last few years have certainly brought challenges and uncertainties, but we are very proud of everything our various local organizations have accomplished in their communities. 2022 will definitely be a new beginning for many of them, and we can only be grateful for all the work put in for this 39th campaign,” said Jean-Marie De Koninck, founding president of Opération Red Nose, in a statement.
The spokesperson this year is comedian Matt Dufour.
