Laval police need your help: two fires at the same restaurant

Laval Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects in connection with two separate incidents of arson that occurred in a restaurant located in the Chomedey area.

The first happened Nov. 7, around 4:40 a.m., when two suspects showed up in the parking lot of 965 Curé-Labelle Blvd. “They tried to set fire to the business, but without success,” say authorities in a press release – “but they started a fire outside in the flower beds and then fled on foot.”

Police describe the first suspect as a male, medium build, wearing a brown hoodie, black pants with three white lines down the side, and dark shoes.

The second suspect: also male and medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black VANS sandals with white socks, and a black backpack.

Second incident in less than 24 hours

The second incident happened less than 24 hours later, Nov. 8 at approximately 12:50 a.m.

A call was made to 911 about flames at the same business. “The suspect set the fire inside the restaurant and then fled on foot,” say police.

Description of the third suspect: male, 6’0″ tall and weighed 72.6 kg (160 lbs), wore black pants with three white stripes on the sides with a small red tag above the stripes, black hoodie, black coat with white logo on the front left side and black gloves.
