Snow loading operations continue in Montreal.
The city saw about 37 cm total Friday into Saturday – and some flurries falling on Monday as well.
Priority for snow operations placed on major arteries, public transit lanes and bus routes.
Officials say they are also paying “special attention” to sidewalk-clearing.
The city says 3,000 people and 2,200 snow-removal vehicles are part of the snow-loading process.
Montreal is committing to quickly removing parking ban signs to limit the length of time cars are forbidden to park in certain areas.
Environment Canada forecasting sun and clouds for Tuesday with a high of -2, feeling like -10 with the wind chill.
Sunny and zero come Wednesday.
Periods of snow for Thursday, but plus 1.
Then rain come Friday and a warmer 8 degrees.
More flurries expected on Saturday, but dropping to -5.
Sun and clouds and -9 come Christmas Day.
