Attempted murder in Laval residential area: police

Police say a man was shot early Saturday morning in Laval in an attempted murder.
Laval police say the victim was shot multiple times.
The victim was taken to hospital. He is in stable condition and his life is not in danger.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. in the Fabreville district.
Officers arrived at the scene on 20th Avenue and found the victim with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.
Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
