Video of police pursuit on Decarie expressway goes viral

A police pursuit on the Décarie Expressway in Montreal has gone viral.
It shows a provincial police officer chasing down three suspects on foot, stopping traffic on Décarie, as more police cars tried to make their way through.
The officer falls down and is quickly dragged, after they seemingly tried to grab a bag of one of the suspects. The suspects are seen escaping.

A bystander recorded the video and posted it to TikTok Sunday.

Sûreté du Québec say it happened on Jan. 7 when the three suspects allegedly stole phones from a shop in Granby, 80 kilometers south east of Montreal.

They then fled towards the city, initiating a police pursuit from the Champlain bridge.
They eventually stopped at Jean-Talon on Décarie, where the chase on foot began. But were soon after arrested by Montreal police.
One of the suspects was a minor and released. The other two, 18 and 19 years old, are still detained and facing charges including robbery.
