Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu student who caused lockdown can legally attend school again

The student who caused a lockdown at Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu CEGEP in November after showing up to school wearing a bullet proof vest – can legally attend class again.

At a hearing on Monday, the court ruled the conditions imposed on the 20-year-old could be alleviated, confirming there are no longer legal constraints keeping him away from the school, as well as a restraining order forbidding him to see a teacher he made threats against.
