Montrealers continue to protest the Iranian regime

In a show of solidarity with those protesting against the oppressive regime in Iran, Montreal’s Iranian community came together on Saturday at the Norman Bethune Square.

Demonstrations against the Iranian regime continue to take place all over the world – including here in Montreal – five months since the beating death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

On Saturday, locals gathered at the Norman Bethune Square on Guy Street and De Maisonneuve Boulevard West.

In a show of solidarity with those protesting against the oppressive regime in Iran, Montreal’s Iranian community has organized several protests since Amini’s death to demand the end of human rights violations and violent crackdowns in that country.
