Three suspects involved in a violent incident arrested by Laval police

Laval police have arrested three suspects and seized a firearm. The arrests were related to a violent event that occurred in the Pont-Viau neighborhood in the last few days. The file is now in the hands of investigators.

On March 11, around 2:30 a.m., a violent altercation occurred between several individuals inside a hotel room. The suspects threatened the victims with a firearm and sprayed them with pepper spray. They then fled in a vehicle.

Police were quickly able to locate and arrest the suspects. During the interception, a gun and a high capacity magazine were found in the vehicle.

Arrests and court appearances

The three individuals who remain in custody following their arrest are 30-year-old Nicolas Girard, 29-year-old Andrée Anne Sauriol and 29-year-old Marc-André Watier.

They are facing several charges including: pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and a high capacity magazine, home invasion and occupying a vehicle with a prohibited firearm and a high capacity magazine.
