Quebec fugitive wanted on child pornography charges arrested in B.C.

A 39-year old Montreal man wanted on child pornography charges, was arrested in Parksville, B.C – confirmed the RCMP on Thursday.
In a statement the RCMP said that on April 19, 2023, they received a report from the public that a man believed to be wanted on an arrest warrant from Quebec was currently in Parksville.
RCMP officers quickly located and took Jimmy Pieschke into custody – who is criminally charged in Quebec with making child pornography.
Pieschke was considered one of Quebec’s most wanted criminals when he failed to appear for his sentence on January 30, after pleading guilty to producing, distributing, and possession of child pornography. Crimes that occurred between 2014 and 2020.
He will be escorted back from B.C. to Quebec, to appear in court.
