The coroner’s inquest aims to evaluate the work of provincial police during the search for the two children and their father in July 2020.
The two girls – Norah and Romy – were kidnapped and murdered by their father Martin Carpentier, before he took his own life.
The hearings will be held all week at the Quebec City courthouse.
