Ville-Marie Expressway, part of Turcot interchange closed this weekend for major repairs

Montrealers should expect slowdowns and detours this weekend due to “major repairs” of the Ville-Marie Expressway and Turcot interchange.

The Ville-Marie Expressway – route 136 – will be closed in both directions this weekend, as workers install a steel structure on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard overpass.

The Turcot interchange ramp leading from Autoroute 20 eastbound to Route 136 eastbound will also be closed.

Route 136

  • Westbound closure between Panet Street and the entrance from Lucien-L’Allier Street from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Traffic will be diverted to Viger Avenue and Saint-Antoine Street.
  • Eastbound closure between the Rue de la Montagne exit and the entrance from Atataken Street, from Friday 11:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Traffic will be diverted to Saint-Jacques Street and Saint-Antoine Street.

Turcot Interchange

  • Closure of ramp leading from Highway 20 eastbound to Route 136 eastbound from Friday 11:30 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m. Traffic will be diverted onto Highway 15 southbound and Highway 10 (Bonaventure).
  • Closure of the ramp leading from Highway 15 northbound to Route 136 eastbound from Friday 11:30 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m. Traffic will be diverted onto Highway 20 westbound, the Angrignon interchange, Highway 20 eastbound, Highway 15 southbound and Highway 10 (Bonaventure).
