Downtown Montreal supper club arson attack

A downtown Montreal supper club was severely damaged by an arson attack early Tuesday.
It happened around 1 a.m., a 911 call came in reporting someone throwing a Molotov cocktail towards Terrasse Maya on Saint-Jacques and Cathédrale.
According to police (SPVM), the suspect fled on foot.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze.
There were no reported injuries, and no arrests have been made.

The SPVM’s arson squad has taken over the investigation.
The supper club had just recently opened.
