Canadiens announce 2023-24 season schedule

The Montreal Canadiens have officially released their 2023-24 season schedule.
The Canadiens will begin their campaign in Toronto on October 11, before hosting the Blackhawks in their own home opener on Oct. 14.
Montreal will face Toronto two additional times throughout the season. March 9 and April 6 in Montreal.
The Canadians will face their American rival the Boston Bruins four times during the season. November 11 in Montreal, Nov. 18 in Boston, Jan. 20 in Boston, and Feb. 14 in Montreal.
Habs fans will get their first look at the defending Stanley Cup champions, on Nov. 16. The Canadiens will make their first trip to the Fortress on Oct. 30.
The longest home stand for the Habs is five games from Mar. 28 to Apr. 6, where they’ll play the Flyers, Hurricanes, Panthers, Lightning, and Leafs.
The Canadiens end 2023 with their longest road trip of the season — seven games — on Dec. 31 versus the Lightning. Before starting 2024 in Dallas on Jan. 2.
The Canadiens will close out their season at home on Apr. 16 against the Red Wings.
