UFC legend Georges St-Pierre to train Elon Musk ahead of Mark Zuckerberg fight

The world’s richest person will get help from a high-profile Quebecer in his much-anticipated “cage match.”

Elon Musk has accepted to be trained by UFC icon and Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre ahead of his bout with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

In a now-viral back-and-forth seen on Twitter and Instagram this week, the two tech billionaires seemingly agreed to face off in the ring.

It all started when Musk, who owns Twitter, responded to a tweet about Meta reportedly preparing to release a new Twitter rival called “Threads.”

He took a dig about the world becoming “exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options” – but then one Twitter user jokingly warned Musk of Zuckerberg’s jiu jitsu training.

“I’m up for a cage match if he is lol,” Musk wrote.

Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta Platforms, responded – and appeared to agree to Musk’s proposal.

That prompted decorated fighter St-Pierre, who is from Saint-Isidore, Que., to tweet at the Tesla boss on Saturday.

“@elonmusk I’m a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg,” the Quebecer wrote, adding a punching emoji.

“Ok, let’s do it,” Musk responded Tuesday with two flame emojis.
