Stabbing outside downtown McDonald’s early Sunday morning

A fight broke out on Saturday night at a McDonald’s restaurant at the corner of Ste-Catherine Ouest and Mackay streets in Montreal.

The incident, which occurred around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, allegedly involves at least three suspects.

A 32-year-old man was seriously injured by a sharp object during the fight.

The police made two arrests, including a 20-year-old man who suffered minor injuries and a 19-year-old man who was not injured.

The restaurant had to close its doors so that an investigation could be underway.

Police say a similar incident took place at the same time on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, but the victims of both incidents are now out of danger.
