The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation held its second annual Dragon Boat Race Saturday, raising nearly three times what it did in its inaugural event.

The $111,176 raised are destined for the West Island hospital’s oncology clinic.

Dozens of health-care workers, their families and friends gathered for the cause.

The foundation raised $40,000 in the 2022 edition of the fundraiser.
