Vehicle fires in Côte Saint-Luc deliberately set: police

Montreal police are investigating after multiple vehicles caught fire near a Côte Saint-Luc apartment building early Saturday morning.
Three vehicles were damaged – two of them beyond repair.
Several 911 calls were made around 1:25 a.m. reporting the fires, which officers suspect were deliberately set.
The cars were in the parking lot of an apartment building on Cavendish Boulevard near Mackle Road. According to the SPVM, the building also suffered significant damage.
No injuries were reported.
The incident is now being investigated by the SPVM’s arson squad.
No arrests were made as of Saturday afternoon.
