St-Henri restaurant hit by arsonists

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating a criminal fire at a restaurant in St-Henri early Wednesday morning.
The SPVM was alerted at around 5 a.m. about a Molotov cocktail that had been thrown inside the Tropikal restaurant on Notre-Dame west, near Bérard.
Once on the scene, firefighters found a broken window, with the Molotov cocktail burning inside the restaurant. They managed to quickly extinguish the flames.
The suspect or suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived.
No one was injured and the damage was minimal.
An investigation is ongoing.
