Heat warning lifted in Montreal area, grey skies to start the weekend
After a nearly week long heat wave in Montreal and most of Quebec – Environment Canada has lifted its heat warning over the Montreal region.
This week we saw humidex values of up to 40 degrees – forcing some school service centres to close their establishments in some parts of Quebec.
But on Friday, it will feel cooler, while still being a hot one. We should reach a high of 26 degrees in Montreal, feeling like 33 with the humidex.

It’ll be mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a risk of a thunderstorm.
For Saturday, temperatures will drop, we should reach a high of 21, feeling like 25 with the humidex. It’ll be mainly cloudy, but we shouldn’t see rain.
On Sunday, more clouds with a high of 23, 60 per cent chance of showers in the evening.
So far, for next week, the forecast is calling for rain and clouds with average seasonal highs around 20 degrees for most of the week.
