Laval police looking for other possible victims of man charged with child sex crime

Investigators from the Laval police force (SPL) are asking the public for help to locate potential victims of 70-year-old Ronald Angelo Cecchini.
Cecchini was arrested in June in connection with a case of sexual contact on a minor in the early 1980s.
SPL reports that between 1979 and 1982, Ronald Angelo Cecchini held a teaching position at an English elementary school in Laval’s Chomedey district. While in a position of authority in a specialized class, he allegedly took advantage of the opportunity to touch a young victim. Multiple acts of a sexual nature were reported over a period of several years.
The suspect is also believed to have taught in Ontario during his career.
Evidence suggests that the suspect may have had other victims.
Ronald Angelo Cecchini is facing a charge of indecent assault. Indecent Assault was charge in the Criminal Code during that period. He is expected back in court on November 8.
