Three teenagers injured after gunshots fired in Montreal’s Rivière-des-Prairies borough

MONTREAL – Three teenagers were injured after gunshots rang out Tuesday evening in the Rivière-des-Prairies borough of northeast Montreal.

The Montreal police force (SPVM) says that at around 9:45 p.m., a call to 911 reported that gunshot-like sounds had been heard near the intersection of Armand-Bombardier Blvd. and André-Ampère Street.

Once on the scene, SPVM officers found the three teenagers injured. They were transferred to hospital and are expected to survive.

A security perimeter was set up at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been reported.
