Laval police arrested a man and woman in their 20s in connection with an alleged robbery involving a firearm.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Oct. 3, 2023. The victim was returning home in a vehicle with one of the suspects on board. As the victim parked her car in the driveway, a second suspect approached her, allegedly pointing a firearm at her, before striking her in the face with the weapon. The two suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, the suspects were located and arrested in Montreal. Searches of their homes led to the seizure of drugs, forged identification cards, a pistol and a high-capacity magazine.
