Highway 25, Saint-Pierre interchange to see road closures starting Nov. 17

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable says part of Highway 25 and the Saint-Pierre interchange will see closures between Nov. 17 and 26.
Highway 25 closure

The closure will include the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel and will see work being done to replace ventilators and other maintenance work within the tunnel.
Highway 25 towards the South Shore will be closed between Exit 4 – Montréal (downtown) / J.-Cartier Bridge and the entrance from Île Charron starting Friday, Nov. 17 from 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Saturday.
During the same time frame, the Highway towards Montreal between Exit 90 – (Aut. 20 West, Route 132, La Prairie / USA, Varennes, Airport P.-E.-Trudeau) from Highway 20 and the entrance from Notre-Dame Street East will also be closed.
The Highway will then reopen in both directions at 8 a.m., before closing again at 11 p.m.
Sunday, both directions will reopen at 9 a.m., before closing at 10 p.m.
Monday, both directions will reopen at 5 a.m., before closing at 9 p.m., with this closure lasting until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26.
The northbound entrance to Highway 25 at Hochelaga Street will also be closed during the night of November 17 to 18.
Saint-Pierre interchange

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable also says repair work will be continuing on the Saint-Pierre interchange from Nov. 17 to Nov. 20.
The ramp from Highway 138 eastbound (from the Honoré Mercier Bridge) to Highway 20 eastbound (and downtown) will be closed starting at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 17 and will remain closed until 5 a.m., the following Monday.
After the ramp reopens, there will be partial closures in place on weekdays until Dec. 1. The partial closures will see traffic reduced to one lane.
In addition, there will be a complete night closure between exit 2 – Rue Clément / Rue St-Patrick and the Saint-Pierre interchange.
The night closure will start at 9:30 p.m., on Nov. 17 and will reopen at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The road will also be closed between 11 p.m., on Sunday and 5 a.m., on Monday.
