Command post for missing 81-year-old Montrealer

Montreal police (SPVM), in collaboration with the Longueuil police force (SPAL), set-up a command post Thursday morning in hopes of gathering new information about the disappearance of 81-year-old Félicien Laforce.

The command post was set up at 9 a.m. in Longueuil, near the intersection of Roberval Blvd. west and Richmond Street.

Police say Laforce has been missing since mid-December 2022.

This is the second time police investigate the area. A first command post was set up in June.

Félicien Laforce speaks French, is 171 cm (5′ 7″) tall, weighs 77 kg (170 lb), has grey hair and blue eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark cap, a dark winter coat with fur collar, dark pants and black winter boots. He gets around on foot and by public transit. Laforce appears to be suffering from cognitive impairment.
