Two trains collide in Saint-Leonard, no serious injuries: Canada’s Transportation Safety board investigating

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating after a Canadian National (CN) train and an Exo commuter train collided at the Saint-Leonard-Montreal-Nord station on Exo’s Mascouche line Tuesday night.

The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m., the cause of the accident is still unknown.

CN has also opened an investigation to determine what happened.

No serious injuries were reported, but three people were transported to hospital.

The trains were cancelled for the rest of the evening and night on the Mascouche line.

Buses and taxis shuttled passengers.
